Renfrew Mayor Tom Sidney is encouraging members of Town Council, town staff, and residents to wear red on Monday, February 13th in support of the Canadian Women’s Heart Health Centre’s Wear Red Canada Day.
The event is intended to raise awareness around women’s cardiovascular health. Cardiovascular problems rank highest among health concerns impacting female mortality, with as many as one in three female deaths attributed to this problem.
Everyone, especially women, need to be aware of and mindful of their heart health, and their management of heart health and wellness.
