LATEST TRUMP VIDEO AN INSULT TO CHRISTIANS

God Made Trump.

Okay fine.  If you’re a Christian, you believe God made each and every one of us, and that Donald Trump is just proof that God has his tough days too.

But I can’t imagine anything more breathtakingly ridiculous than Trump’s latest video release on his Truth Social propaganda site.  Regardless of anyone’s belief in a higher being, it’s absolutely inconceivable to me that a higher moral authority, aka God, would send a charlatan such as The Donald to grace the lives and ensure the salvation of God’s people.  Unless God has a really perverse, even sick, sense of humour.  Or did he send Trump because, well, plagues, floods, pestilence, and locusts were getting boring?

There is no humour to Donald Trump.  He’s a crook, a liar, a narcissist, and a really bad party clown.  It’s a shame that, when God sent him, that God didn’t have the foresight to protect his appointed saviour from the indignity of shitting his pants in public, no offence to all those kind and normal people who suffer from incontinence.

What makes this video particularly alarming is that there are no shortage of people who actually believe this shit, people who are willing to cast aside their critical intelligence, integrity, and common decency to support someone they view as a shit-kicker who’s going to set things right.  And by setting things right I’m talking about draining the swamp, destroying the World Economic Forum, putting the boots to LGBTQ+, eliminating abortion, and chasing the woke bastards back into their closets with locks on the doors.  How about turning our backs on international allies and playing footsie with deplorable dictators and murderers?  How about Trump as the guy sent by God to break up the QAnon movement, that pedophile ring run by Hillary Clinton out of a pizza shop in New Jersey?

The way people will park their incredulity in order to support someone they view as a disrupter, someone who will burn down everything that has these people mad, is beyond belief.  Someone who will attack those who are responsible for the state of their lives, their anger, never mind the bad choices they may have made on their own.  Someone who will bring down all the scapegoats they have for their own life bitterness.  People who would gladly see Rome burn as payback for the “indignities” they’ve suffered as they’ve watched others gain rights that they previously once held only for themselves.  People who believe that life is a zero-sum game, where people can only gain if others lose, who feel somehow diminished by others gaining their rightful place and respect in a free and democratic society.  Where life is an amalgamation of winners and losers, and how once they were the winners but now perceive themselves to be the losers.

They’re right on that last point.  Being losers.  Gotta give them that.

So, if you call yourself a Christian, what do you make of this whole “God Sent Trump” bullshit?  Do you eat it up and wash it down with the Koolaid?  Do you turn a blind eye?  Do you embrace it whole-heartedly?

Do you tolerate it in exchange for the Charlatan rolling back abortion rights?  Is that your hill to fight on?  You consider abortion a sin, and that’s your prerogative, but how many sins are you willing to be part of in order to get rid of that particular sin?  Where is your voice clamouring for decency and respect and love, all things articulated by none other than Jesus?  Or is Jesus less than Trump to you?

And honestly, do you think Donald Trump gives a strawberry fuck about abortion?  Really?

What about the sin of omission?  Looking the other way when you see things that don’t line up with your Christian beliefs or are inconvenient to your anger and discord.  Or is that, in itself, too inconvenient to think like that, or reflect like that, in the first place.

If you’re a Christian, then act like one, rather than some hypocritical Christian of Convenience.  Being a true Christian is not a part-time job, it’s 24/7, and while mistakes will be made along the way, the enduring faith in your Christian principles will hold you in good stead with your God.

I’m not saying abandon your principles.  I’m saying don’t walk away from your other principles just because it suits you to do so.  Either be a Christian or don’t.  Sorry, but you can’t be both.

Donald Trump receives significant support from the Christian community.  Despite all of his criminal and moral baggage, many Christians are willing to overlook the many sins of this horrid individual because he throws them scraps of what they want.

This video and this concept is absolutely insulting to Christians, real ones anyway.  If you can’t get past your anger enough to see what this man represents, then I’m sorry, but you’re not a very good Christian.

If WWJD means anything to you, then prove it by carrying yourself with integrity and turning your back on this reprehensible person who is exploiting your beliefs for his own gain.

Unless, of course, you think Jesus would be a MAGA supporter and be okay with all of this.
